Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site.
- If you create an account (e.g., careers portal), keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
Permitted use
Use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Break the law, violate others’ rights, or interfere with the Site’s operation.
- Upload or transmit malware, scrapers, bots, or spam.
- Copy, reverse-engineer, or frame the Site except as allowed by law.
- Misrepresent your identity, your affiliation, or your qualifications.
Information you submit
You may send us messages, CVs, job applications, briefs, and other materials (“User Content”). You:
- Acknowledge your information is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
- Give Edgenza a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use your User Content to run recruitment or deliver services you request (for example, sharing a candidate profile with a client for a suitable role).
- Acknowledge that email, WhatsApp, and similar channels may have their own terms and privacy practices.
We handle personal data as explained in our Privacy Statement.
Recruitment-specific terms
- No guarantee of employment. Applying or interviewing doesn’t guarantee an offer.
- Background checks. Where lawful and proportionate to the role, we or a client may conduct checks (with consent if required).
- Client decisions. Hiring decisions are made by clients; timelines and outcomes may vary.
Client services via the Site
- If you request proposals, meetings, or services through the Site:
- Any proposal or scope we share is an offer to discuss, not a binding commitment until both parties sign a services agreement.
- Fees, deliverables, confidentiality, and IP for paid work are governed by the signed services agreement. These Terms apply only to Site use.
Intellectual property
The Site, its design, text, graphics, logos (including “Edgenza” and related marks), and content are owned by Edgenza or our licensors and protected by law. Except for normal browsing and personal, non-commercial use, you may not reproduce or reuse Site content without written permission.
Third-party content and links
We may link to third-party sites, job boards, or tools. We don’t control or endorse them and aren’t responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Use them at your own risk.
Disclaimers
- The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.
- Content on the Site is general information, not legal, tax, investment, medical, or professional advice. Get professional advice for your situation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Edgenza isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the Site.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of PKR 100,000 or the amount you paid us for Site-specific features (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limits; those limits apply only where allowed.
Indemnity
You’ll indemnify and hold harmless Edgenza, our directors, and staff from claims, damages, and costs arising out of your misuse of the Site, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.
Communications and marketing
By contacting us through the Site, you agree we may reply by email, phone, or messaging apps. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing [privacy@edgenza.com]. Service and transactional messages may still be sent.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Statement and cookie banner. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser or our settings panel.
Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you’ve breached these Terms, harmed the Site, or violated the law.
Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the latest version here with the effective date. If you keep using the Site after changes, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts located in Lahore, Pakistan will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules.
